Jackson Golden Angels Gala 2010

The Jackson Memorial Foundation Golden Angels Gala 2010 celebrated Jackson Health System as the community’s health care jewel.  As the hospital provides increasing care to the growing number of uninsured in our community, it is our donors who allow us to develop new programs that keep Jackson at the forefront of critical medicine.  The Gala brought nearly 1,000 of Miami’s leaders together to net more than $1 million, all while honoring the many accomplishments of the foundation’s Golden Angel Society donors.

The incredible success of this gala was due to the hard work and commitment of Fana Holtz, Gala Chairman. Grateful appreciation to honorees Cindy Davis Carr, Humanitarian Chairman, Richard and Shelley Golden, Honorary Chairmen, and Frances Fields Gordon and Samuel Gordon, Honorary Chairmen. Chairman of the Board Abel Holtz announced a surprise new gift of $1 million by Leon and Serena Simkins.

CBS4 Anchor Shannon Hori was the evening’s featured speaker, accompanied by the evening’s emcee, her co-anchor at Channel 4, Antonio Mora.

The Gala featured luxury jewelry sponsors: Buccellati, Chopard, Coomi, GRAFF, Judith Ripka, Martin Katz, Ltd., Movado Group, Neiman Marcus, Bal Harbour, Piaget, Pierre Famille, and Pomellato.
