Guardian Angels Luncheon 2009

MIAMI, FL – October 1 -- Elegance and philanthropy came together to raise more than $500,000 in the spirit of helping children at Jackson Memorial Foundation’s Guardian Angels 11th annual Guardians of the Children Luncheon at the InterContinental Hotel.  Approximately 500 prominent guests attended this signature event to benefit Holtz Children’s Hospital.

Internationally acclaimed fashion designer Carolina Herrera made a special appearance at the luncheon and delighted guests with a magnificent runway fashion show featuring her 2010 spring collection.  Guests enjoyed Château D’Esclans Whispering Angel wine donated by Paul Chevalier as they viewed vitrines filled with dazzling jewels provided by Graff, the jewelry sponsor.

The incredible success of this year’s luncheon was in large part due to many generous supporters and sponsors, including Honorary Chairman, Shirley K. Fletcher and Platinum Sponsor, AT&T.  Cindy Davis Carr was recognized as 2009 Guardians of the Children Honoree for her continued commitment to improving the health of children in our community.

The Guardian Angels are a membership support group of Jackson Memorial Foundation.
